Super Cub Sprayers |
|

|
Enclosed is a picture of a couple of super cub sprayers that has been modified to bi Planes. These planes were working out of Searcy Arkansas. I found these pictures at the airport in Woodward, Oklahoma. A gentleman that was there told me they were is Uncles planes. Does anyone know anything about these planes. I have been in the business of crop spraying for 37 years and have never known about this modification.

My attached photo is of my Pawnee. It was taken when I was over at the Sunshine Coast spreading pasture fertilizer. The Headland in the distance is Noosa Heads which is an exclusive holiday location over here. Great day in the office. One of those jobs that make you feel priviledged to be an ag pilot.Submitted by Frank Drinan, Kingaroy, Queensland, Australia |

Here is some photos of our PA18-150 with the Sorenson spray system and SATLOC. We use it for criticle rice work when the rice is next to beans or cotton. The company bought this completely rebuilt cub and myself and another pilot (Mike Bryan from west Texas) installed the sorenson system and SATLOC. We have a dual category airworthiness certificate and everything is certified by FAA. I fly for AG-INC.(formally North Hughes Flying Service). Submitted by Jon Rucks, Brickeys, Arkansas |

Row cropping near Stratford in Southern Ontario, Canada. There is still a few small operators left, 40 years this year of back and forth over 40 acre average sized fields. Just renewed my subscription, gotta love your magazine. Maybe some more personal stories though. All the best, Submitted by Jim Horvath (Jim's Flying Service Ltd.) Ontario, Canada |
