Denny O’Hara received the Wright Brothers Master Pilot award from the Federal Aviation Administration Wednesday afternoon.
Since 1965, Denny O’Hara has been a pilot in many different roles, from an instructor to a charter pilot as well as a crop duster and sprayer.
O’Hara was honored for his years in the air with the most prestigious honor from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the Wright Brothers Master Pilot award.
According to the FAA website, a recipient of the Wright Brothers Master Pilot award has to be a U.S. citizen, hold a U.S. Civil Aviation Authority or FAA pilot certificate and have 50 or more years of civil and military flying experience.
